“I actually wrote this for B. B. King. Although I’ve never gotten it to him, I kept hearing his voice as I wrote it. It’s a steamy minor blues with a hook -- there are more minors in this album than on any other one I’ve done. I think it gives it more range of expression. I’m really into playing minor tunings on bottleneck slide guitar. It’s an intoxicating sound for me.“
